Shipping and Delivery

We aim to process all order within 24 hours of being received, this is to allow for your item to be carefully selected and wrapped.

Approximately 24 hours after you have placed your order, your parcel will be sent via one of the below nominated shipping methods.

We offer a range of delivery options, please choose an option that best suits your personal needs.

UK

Standard - £3.95 Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class (Orders under £99.00) - (3 - 5 Business Days)
FREE Standard - Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class (Orders over £99.00) - (3 - 5 Business Days)
Express - £4.95 Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class* (1 - 2 Business Days)
Special - £9.95 Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm next working day*

Europe

UPS International tracked and signed: 3-4 business days: £9.95

International

UPS International tracked & signed: 5-7 business days: £29.95

 

Goods will be sent to the delivery address given by you when placing the order. If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be subject to import duties. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance.

Upon dispatch of the product(s) we will send you a shipment confirmation email

You can track shipment of your products by clicking on the “Track My Order” link in the shipping confirmation email. Please note such links will direct you to the courier’s website, which is not controlled by us.

It is our aim to deliver within the above mentioned times, however, delivery dates are not guaranteed as shipments are handled by third parties and are subject to public holidays, weather conditions and other factors out of our control.

We will be unable to change the delivery address on orders after checkout.

We are not responsible for items returned to sender for the following reasons:

  • Incorrect/insufficient address
  • Unclaimed from the post office
  • Failure to pay taxes/customs fees

If a package is returned or rejected, it is the customer’s responsibility to email hello@salthouseengland.co.uk to arrange redelivery and you may be liable to pay for postage costs.

If there is no one at the indicated nominated delivery address who can accept delivery of products, the carrier will leave a notification card in your mailbox.

Title to and risk of loss to your product(s) will pass to you once you take possession of the products.

Refunds for delayed deliveries due to third parties will not be accepted.

 

Taxes and duties on international orders

All applicable customs and import duties and fees, taxes and any other charges are the responsibility of the customer (even if you refuse any shipments upon delivery).

If you order items for delivery outside the United Kingdom, they may be opened and inspected by customs authorities and may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination.

You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
